Chronic Diseases Pension Overview
Individuals diagnosed with severe chronic conditions such as bilateral elephantiasis at Grade 4, those who have undergone liver and heart transplants, and patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) who have a serum creatinine level of 5 mg but are not on dialysis, as well as those with small, contracted kidneys due to Chronic Kidney Disease of Unknown Etiology (CKDU), are eligible for a monthly pension of INR 10,000.
Additionally, patients with Chronic Kidney Disease who are currently undergoing dialysis, whether treated in government facilities or within network hospitals, will also receive a monthly support amount of INR 10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must belongs to Andhra Pradesh State.
- The applicant must belongs to below poverty line with a family income not more than INR 10,000 per month in rural areas and INR 12000 in urban areas.
- Must belong to one of the following groups: Elderly, widowed, or disabled.
